Seattle Therapy Network is a multi-disciplinary clinic focused on enabling every child. Our team of experienced speech therapists enjoy exploring their clinical interests, mentorship, and clinical collaboration. Our unique facility focuses on creating an environment that kids and their family want to be in, one that friendships and connections can be organically created, kids can be leaders and learners, and sharing and playing together occurs in every hour.

Speech therapists at Seattle therapy network are responsible for excellent care of pediatric clients, including teens and young adults. As a speech therapist, you play an integral role in upholding our values of collaboration, communication, credibility, family-centeredness, equity, and fun.

Responsibilities

  • Complete comprehensive evaluations.

  • Collaborate with others to create a best plan of care.

  • Complete detailed, accurate, and timely documentation of evaluations, re-evaluations, and daily treatment.

  • Provide ongoing therapy services, including family education and home programs. Services are primarily in clinic setting and via Telehealth but opportunities for other settings available.

  • Maintain productivity and documentation standards for your job description.

  • Assist with program development and in-house learning.

  • Participate in continuing education relevant to clinic and personal career goals.

  • Participate in community outreach events

  • Participate in fieldwork and intern education.

  • Maintain a clean work environment.

Required Characteristics

  • Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.

  • Valid Washington state professional license.

  • Excellent clinical reasoning.

  • Passion for working with children and families.

  • Team oriented.

  • Respectful of individual family cultures and values.

  • CPR/First Aid Certified.

  • Able to prioritize and organize responsibilities.

  • Positive, curious, and playful attitude.

Desired Characteristics

  • Active member of ASHA.

  • Experience with a variety of standardized instruments.

  • Experience with feeding and oral motor therapy.

  • Ability to be flexible, jump-in, and problem solve.

  • Strong verbal and written skills, including the ability to communicate with a varied audience. Ability to express views and value in speech therapy.
